Carol is a registered Clinical Psychologist with more than 35 years experience working in both Private and Public Psychiatric Hospitals and in private practice.
Carol has experience working individually with a wide range of adult and adolescent clients, including ATSI clients, who present with issues such as depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD and Complex PTSD, LGBTI issues, personality disorders, anger management, grief and loss, attachment issues, work related stressors and stress management, women’s issues, perinatal issues and parenting, and interpersonal issues.
She has experience working with the elderly and with the dying and their families.
As a group therapist, she has designed and run insight oriented groups, anger management and CBT programs and groups, and couples/relationship counselling groups.
As a tenured University Lecturer, she taught in Schools of Psychology and Health Sciences.
Carol is registered with AHPRA to provide supervision for provisionally registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists and to supervise registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists.
She is able to work with clients within a range of psychotherapeutic models, matching the approach to the client’s needs.
